Backstory: Waiting in line is never worse than when you're going to the hospital. Wouldn't it be great if you could see the wait time at all the hospitals in your area?

The Idea: An app that displays the wait time at nearby hospitals.

Deep Dive: You would have to pick one city and coordinate with all the local hospitals to give you a feed to their current customer wait time. They may only have the number or people in line and you would have to average out the estimated wait time.

Once this becomes adopted the next step is to pitch a "pre-book" your spot to the hospitals. You would have an online form where patients can fill out their information, elevating the need for a desk greeter to fill out their information. Hospitals would have to employee less greeters, you would pitch this as a cost savings to the hospital.

Validation: I don't think anyone enjoys waiting in lines.

Monetization: You may be able to charge a one time fee for the app. The real money comes in when you can pre-book your spot in line for hospitals. You would be able to charge hospitals a monthly fee.
