Backstory: I'm a creature of habit. I tend to eat the same food, wings and more wings. I'm actually about to order wings to eat tonight... anyway, at food truck events I try to find the best wing trucks. Fowl Play is one of my favorites but I can never seem to find it.

The Idea: An app with GPS that shows where food trucks are located.

Deep Dive: An app that allows food truck owners to advertise their location in real-time. They would also have a company listing page where they can list their hours, menu items and contact information. Food truck owners would be able to set their schedule by day and location so you can plan your meals out.

You could add features like reviews and promotional offerings for trucks. By offering a community for food truck owners, you could help coordinate food truck events.

Validation: I've always wondered where food trucks are located at a given time. I have space at a co-working space and there is always a different food truck, I would love to have a way to track the chicken wing truck so I can plan to eat out that day of the week.

Monetization: Obviously you could sell advertisement space and promotional spots for food truck owners.

I think a hidden gem is being able to coordinate food truck events. You would coordinate with local concerts and blast out an alert to all app users that there's a food truck event coming up. You could pre-sell meals or tickets to the event through the app. Coordinating is a huge task, but I think it would pay off dividends, what do you think?
