Backstory: I was talking with my friend the other day about putting on events, they're frustrating; from finding the venue to staffing the event. She was planning a remote event in California and had a two local helpers call out last minute, it was a scramble to get anyone else to help.

The Idea: A marketplace for people to find and apply for event staff positions.

Deep Dive: You would build a two sided marketplace where event planners could post upcoming events and event staff could post their availability. Event staff could set their level of experience/rate and also their willingness to work same day.

Validation: Similar to other niche job boards, you should target a specific type of event and staff such as medical education.

Monetization: You would charge a per post fee for job posters.
